RATES AND POLICIES

RATES:
Weekday and weekend rates are based on double occupancy and include a full breakfast. Additional persons charged at $25. All rates subject to change prior to confirmed reservation. Two day minimum stay may apply during certain special events and holidays. Enjoy Chaska House for your weekend getaway in Texas. Business and State of Texas rates (STMP #7480) available.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS:

• A deposit equivalent to the rate for one night's stay or 50% of the reservation total invoice, whichever is larger, is required to confirm a reservation. The deposit will be applied to the total invoice due upon arrival.  Requirements may differ for certain holidays, special events or group reservations.

• The deposit is fully refundable if notice is communicated in person or by phone no less than 5 days prior the scheduled arrival date.

• Late cancellations are subject to the full charges for the reserved night(s) unless the room(s) can be re-booked for the same period. If we are successful in rebooking the room(s), the deposit will be refunded in full, less a $20 processing fee.

• Holiday, special events and group reservations require 10 days notice. This policy applies equally to gift certificates.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES:
Normal Check-in from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.; Check-out by 11:00 a.m. Arrivals and departures outside of normal hours should be communicated.

PAYMENT METHODS:
Cash, travelers checks, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express.

SMOKING & CANDLES:
For the comfort and safety of all guests, candles are not permitted and smoking is allowed outside only on the first floor porches and grounds.  A smoke remediation fee will be charged to the credit card of guests responsible for smoking inside.

CHILDREN:
Children age 12 and over are welcome and are charged as additional persons. Younger children are welcome at the Hemingway's Guest Suites.

PETS:
Sorry, pets cannot be accommodated.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES IN ROOM:
Waxahachie has a good selection of restaurants-most have beverage service or allow wine brought by guests. If you wish to enjoy adult beverages on the property, we suggest B.Y.O.B. Glasses, Ice and limited refrigeration space are available for guests' wine, snacks, etc. Ice chests are not permitted inside. The dining room may be used for "dine-in" meals catered, delivered, or brought in by guests in the main house.
